Sue Wallace was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2005 and Sue and Steve spent  3 months in 2006 researching Puppet Centres around the world with a view to creating a working model for a puppet centre in Australia. In 2010, Sue and colleagues created ImaginArta - the Australian Puppet Centre Inc. a not-for-profit association.  The first event for ImaginArta was held at the Annandale Creative Arts Centre in January 2011.  They are currently in negotiation for a permanent home in Sydney.
